Graham averaged 42.5 yards per punt this preseason, seeing action in all four of Detroit's games and pinned the opposition team within their own 20 four times. The ex-AFL star had signed with the Lions in November 2011 after being released by the Arizona Cardinals in October, and was their starting punter for their final seven games. Graham has already had a highly successful career in the NFL, playing for the New York Jets and the New Orleans Saints before his three year stint with the Cardinals and eventual move to Motor City. His NFL career includes a Super Bowl appearance for Arizona in Super Bowl XLIII against the Pittsburgh Steelers and a career 43.8 yards per punt average. Graham also punted for the Australian national team when attempting to qualify for the 2011 IFAF World Cup.
