Andrew Bogut the Australian born Milwaukee Bucks starting Center missed Tuesday night’s game against the Utah Jazz and is out for today’s game against the Sacramento Kings.
The Bucks have confirmed Bogut is out due to undisclosed personal reasons and has returned home to Australia. It is unclear when he will return to the Bucks line-up, though it is possible he could miss a few more games on the Bucks current road trip before they head home next week. Drew Gooden the 9 year veteran has replaced Bogut in the line-up.
Bogut recently tweeted:
“On to the next one. No road win is easy… Flying to Utah shortly”
prior to the Jazz game Tuesday. No other confirmation has come from Bogut since only a statement from his agent David Bauman
“It is important to note that this is not related to Andrews’s personal health in any way, in the interests of the situation, he asks that his privacy be respected”.
Bogut isn't expected to miss long and has been averaging 14.3 points, 10 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game in the first 4 games of this season.
We hope all is well with our lone current Aussie NBA player!
