Wing was the starting punter for LSU for two full seasons, averaging 44.6 yards per punt during that period including in 2012 five punts over 60 yards. His time at LSU also involved this dubious play that cost him a touchdown on a fake punt. The decision comes after he was forced to sit out the Chick-fil-A Bowl for allegedly failing a drug test. He was replaced by new Aussie punter Jamie Keehn, however LSU fell to the 14th ranked Clemson 24-25. https://twitter.com/bwing38/status/287296898673541122 Brad's long, booming punts were well respected in the college ranks but it's unclear where he may be drafted in April. In 2012 we were surprised to see the Jacksonville Jaguars pick Bryan Anger in the 3rd round, the only other punter taken in 2012 was in the 6th round. Wing will now be the second highly touted Aussie prospect in the 2013 NFL Draft, alongside Alabama's Jesse Williams who has been slated for the first round by numerous draft pundits. We'll endeavour to keep you updated as to Brad's status and draft chances and wish him the best of luck in April!
