Host Jason Bennett will outline Bogut's terrific journey to the pros. From growing up in Melbourne, to college at the University of Utah, to the 2005 Draft and his now highly successful career in the NBA. Aussies Abroad is one of ESPN Australia's original sports programs, highlighting our Aussie athletes playing at the highest level of their sports overseas. Tonight's episode will map Bogut's career from it's beginnings till present day, chronicling both the highs and lows, including victories, losses, injuries and self-doubts. Bogut is arguably one of Australia's greatest modern sportsmen and just took his newest NBA team, the Golden State Warriors, into Round 2 of the playoffs. Since 2005 he has played in 440 regular season games, and averages 9.2 rebounds, 12.2 points and 1.6 blocked shots per game on his career.

Despite surgery the injury plagued him throughout the 2012/13 season and he was unable to return to the game in strength until January 2013. His most recent achievements include a dominating performance in Game 6 of the first round of the playoffs against the Los Angeles Lakers where he scored career playoff highs of 14 points and 21(!) rebounds. The 28-year-old looks set to continue his career for years to come too, he plans to be completely healthy for next season, a contract year.
