[caption id="attachment_15931" align="aligncenter" width="438"] Steven Bisig / USA Today[/caption] Aussie undrafted free agent Brock Motum had a good start to his Orlando Summer League campaign for the Philadelphia 76ers in their 88-80 loss to the Houston Rockets.
The Aussie forward shot 2-of-2 from the field and added two good free-throw shots as well as one rebound on the day, making the most of his limited time (7:09 minutes) on the court.Motum comes into the NBA as the PAC-12's leading shooter and his scoring ability was well documented before the draft. He was not brought on from the bench until late in the fourth quarter when the 76ers were already down 73-61. https://twitter.com/JakeLFischer/status/353886969828360194 While going undrafted in June, the rookie out of Washington State was picked up by the 76ers Summer League team only a few days afterwards, joining fellow Aussie Matthew Dellavedova as a Summer League competitor (Dellavedova will be playing for the Cavaliers in the Vegas Summer League later in the week). Philadelphia's next game will be against the Indiana Pacers and can be seen live via NBA TV at 3:00 a.m. this Tuesday morning. We hope to see Motum earn more court time in the 76ers remaining summer games.
