GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS VS SAN ANTONIO SPURS
Time and Date:
Friday 17th of May from Oracle Arena
LIVE at 12:30pm AEST
The San Antonio Spurs have finally gathered themselves and look like the dominant giants they were during the regular season.
With the threat of contesting a Game 6 down 3-2 against the Golden State Warriors in Oakland, the Spurs came out with plenty of passion and aggression to set the stage for the remainder of the series.
Golden State were surprisingly never in Game 5 after forcing a win in San Antonio earlier this series. It didn't matter how much Warriors coach Mark Jackson attempted to inspire his team, the confidence was falling because the shots weren't. Now it's advantage Spurs.
Stephen Curry, struggling with his left ankle wasn't able to close out on shooters or create shots of his own, something that changes the entire dynamic of the series. Klay Thompson will need to be white hot shooting the ball, someone needs to replace the production Curry can't give.
Our Aussie Andrew Bogut. He now becomes the most important Warrior of this Semi-Finals series. Golden State's guards are going to need second shot opportunities and transition play to put the ball in the net, it all starts on the boards at the offensive and defensive ends.
