Game Of The Week
There are some massive opening games this weekend, and none bigger than Monday morning's (AEST) game with the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl XLVII favourites Green Bay ($7).
We thought that we would see this game as last year's NFC Championship game, and we may yet be seeing a preview of this year's Championship game. It's basically going to come down to Clay Matthews and co holding out against a balanced 49ers offense. The Packers opened at $1.41 and have drifted to $1.43, with a little bit of love for the 49ers; $3.00 into $2.90.
The line has stayed at a flat 5.0 for this game, but if the 49ers score early, we still think that might prove difficult for Aaron Rodger’s men to cover. In the Conference market, the Packers have been backed into $3.80 from $4.00, and the 49ers from $8.00 into $7.50; expect them to shorten even more if they can pull off an upset here. Best Of The Rest
Two absolute ripping contests kick off at 3am on Monday, starting with a battle of New York. The big spending Buffalo Bills trek it to the city to take on the J-E-T-S, Jets Jets Jets. All eyes will be on a God’s favourite quarterback, Tim Tebow, and whether he gets the opportunity to lead the rumoured "Wildcard" offense for the Jets.
A steady trickle for the Jets has seen them come in from $1.69 to $1.66, with the Bills fading from $2.20 out to $2.26. The Bills have a wildcard plan of their own, with former Jet, Brad Smith, a 50/50 chance of taking the field after struggling with a groin injury.
Meanwhile in Minnesota, the Jaguars and Vikings are set to meet in what we think will be a tight, low-scoring game. Adrian Peterson and Maurice Jones-Drew normally hog the headlines when these two teams meet, but neither has seen a lot of pre-season action and we don't expect them to have much time in this contest. Jacksonville have been backed $2.72 into $2.64, while the Vikings have gone from $1.48 to $1.50.
We like the Under 39.5 at $1.76 in this game.

Monday Night Football
Monday morning's viewing concludes with the Steelers travelling to Denver to take on the Broncos, in what we are dubbing "The Peyton Show".
Last time they travelled here, Tebow's Broncos stunned them in overtime in the wild-card playoff; he might be gone, but rest assured Pittsburgh still want revenge. Ben Roethlisberger shapes as the key here; he will be prepared to take more chances than Manning and play a more expansive game, but will Manning's accuracy and sensible mind come up trumps?
Peyton has been backed into $15, equal with his underperforming brother, for the most passing yards, while Roethlisberger is priced at $26.00.

Super Bowl Futures
Our Super Bowl Market has been moved after Thursday's upset with the defending Champions drifting from $21 to $26, and the Cowboys doing the opposite.
Some strong money for Houston saw them shorten to $10 with punters suggesting they will dominate their pitiful division. The usual suspect, New England, share favouritism with Green Bay at $7. The biggest movement during the preseason saw the Seahawks shorten from $67 into $31; maybe there is something we don't know about happening in Seattle?
