Wondering what to expect in the NFC North this season? Read on!Continuing on our 10-second breakdown of each division as the start of the regular season draws near, lets take a look at what we can expect in the NFC North. - Green Bay Packers Could we finally see a legitimate running attack in Green Bay this season? They finally addressed the running back position in the offseason by drafting Eddie Lacy and Jonathan Franklin, so expect the rushing attack in Green Bay to be improved. Expect Aaron Rodgers to be, well Aaron Rodgers, and despite the loss of Charles Woodson, the defense shouldn't see too much of a drop in production. Another deep playoff run is looking very likely for the Packers this season. Chicago Bears No Lovie Smith. No Brian Urlacher. No problem? New head coach Marc Trestman was a surprise appointment but his history of getting the best out of quarterbacks should help QB Jay Cutler. RB Matt Forte could very well have a monster season, if he can stay healthy. I like the appointment of new offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Aaron Kromer so expect the Bears offense to be much improved. As for the defense? If preseason is anything to go by then Bears fans won't have too much to worry about. Detroit Lions Watch out for the Lions offense this season. New RB Reggie Bush is a huge upgrade for the Lions and they have a very nice trio in Bush, Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson. However outside of Calvin Johnson the WR position is looking thin. The defensive line is their strength defensively but it'll be interesting to see how the rest of the defense fares. If the Lions have another losing season then head coach Jim Schwartz could be on the hot seat. Minnesota Vikings The Vikings and their fans will expect much of QB Christian Ponder, question is can he deliver? Bringing in WR Greg Jennings should help Ponder and keep defenses somewhat honest. However the focal point of the offense will be current MVP Adrian Peterson. DE Jared Allen will need yet another Pro Bowl like season if the Vikings are to keep up in the division and to return to the playoffs. Rookie WR Corderelle Patterson could be one to watch and the Vikings will hope he'll fill the void left by Percy Harvin. - Quick Predictions Here's how I see the NFC North looking come season's end. Packers 13-3 Bears 10-6 Lions 9-7 Vikings 7-9 - How do you see the NFC North shaping up this season? Let us know in the comments below!
